Here we go again
Ok, I know I've said this a few times before, but here goes.
I've missed the community and inspiration I got from this place.
I have now sold me entire DSLR system and got a Cano G12 compact, and a iPhone 4 as my only cameras. I miss the response time of the D200, but I've still got amazing photos from my iPhone.
In the past 2 years since I abandoned the community here, I've made a good name and career for myself in the web design and development world, I've even made the top 3 for the .net Awards 2011.
I miss the visual aspect of my creative life and coming back to DA will hopefully reignite my passion for photos and imagery.
Hello ever
Jesus Christ!
A 6 month sabbatical, kind of.
As summer approaches, I'm feeling more & more inspired. Inspiration is coming from a few sources, mostly from my girlfriend, who flips from being camera shy to extremely photogenic & comfortable in front of it. No doubt you'll see more portraits from me of her.
Also, I've been busy busy with my career as a web designer & developer. As I now work for a small, but quality agency in London, I've worked on sites for Nike, 1Goal, Timberland & a myriad of smaller but equally awesome sites. I've also launched new designs for my personal blog, I Am One Man, Code by Monkey and my personal micro-site PaulAdamDavis.com

Nineteen years today.
Wow do I feel old.
More Majour Changes
I got offered a new job!
I'm leaving the old one (it's completly my choice, nothing to do with them) to go join DevStars. I start on the 30th, hopefully. I can't wait! That also means I'm moving to West London! =D Dev meet-up anyone?
Also, from the same guy I got the D200 from, I also just got a Tokina 12-24mm f/4. Lovely lens, and looks like it was used ones. Oh wait, it was!
All I now need in my kit it a new zoom, either the 70-300 AF-S or a second-hand 80-200 f/2.8, a fast 50, the AF-S one, and lastly, 2 SB-600 flash guns. My bag will weigh a ton!
My life is the bollocks at the moment. The epic 2 months will continuee

I think the lomo effect is cool. But I dont tend to like it on "everything" I love it for architecture bbut not so much for nature. I think its a personal thing though
